The next top of the range from Google is therefore back at the center of attention: let's find out what has been leaked again and everything we know so far about the smartphone.
The design of the smartphone is confirmed as an evolution of that introduced by Google with last year's breakthrough generation: at first glance it appears very similar to the Google Pixel 6 Pro but there are some substantial differences, mainly concentrated in the rear photographic sector.
Although this continues to be characterized by the distinctive horizontal band of the Pixel 6, this time it merges with the side frame of the smartphone, forming an integral part of the structure and probably giving a more elegant appearance.
Instead, the double color above and below the photographic sector would be confirmed: in the unedited light blue version, which you can admire in the cover photo and in the gallery below, the Google Pixel 7 Pro band should be white / silver unlike black present on the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro and already spotted in the other two colors in which the smartphone has already been shown.
The triple rear camera of the smartphone should, for the first time on a Pixel series smartphone, host a periscopic telephoto lens, contained in the circle on the right inside the fascia. The other two cameras, aesthetically grouped together, should be, net of surprises, a wide-angle sensor and an ultra-wide angle sensor.
The front of Google Pixel 7 Pro, on the other hand, shows us a smartphone with reduced and almost symmetrical frames (the chin is slightly thicker), as well as a very small hole to house the camera and centered in the upper part of the large display. which, according to rumors, should be an AMOLED with a 6.7 or 6.8 inch diagonal and QHD + resolution.
What do we know about the smartphone so far?
After talking about design, photographic sector and display, we have practically exhausted all the certainties we have on the smartphone.
The seventh generation of the Pixel series will be the second, presented by Google, after the switch to the Google Tensor SoC and all the clues leaked so far (but also the logic) agree that the Google Pixel 7 Pro (but also the 7 smooth) will arrive with the second generation of the chipset, supported by 12 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of storage space.
Given the 5000 mAh battery of Pixel 6 Pro, we imagine that Pixel 7 Pro can be equipped, more or less, with such a solution: the aspect on which Big G will surely have to work is that linked to the charging technology, in the hope that the next top of the range can support fast charging at faster than the 23 W supported by the current one.
Finally, no surprise regarding the software: Google Pixel 7 Pro will be the first flagship smartphone to officially go out on the market with Android 13, the next release of the green robot software.
When will the Google Pixel 7 Pro arrive?
Google Pixel 7 Pro should be presented next autumn, the classic window in which Big G places the launch of its flagship smartphones, in the company of Google Pixel 7 and in conjunction with the release of Android 13, which has already entered the development phase abundantly.
It is still early to hypothesize the price at which the smartphone will be offered, still under development, but it is reasonable to expect that Google Pixel 7 Pro may have a price in line with that of the current top range Google Pixel 6 Pro (which officially costs € 899 here in Italy).
Despite the rumors about the next top of the range continue to tease the fantasies of fans, Google should present a couple of devices before the autumn launch: the new mid-range Pixel 6a and the Pixel Watch, the first smartwatch from the Mountain View house. Once again, Google's 2022 could be a very busy year.
