Battery Guru: Announcement of new features

Battery Guru already passed few major updates in the past and brought nice features to the users, coming from wider range of the devices support, over health estimation to the app design it self. Today we are announcing new features that users requested since early beginnings. Since Battery Guru was more dedicated to charging related features this request was just one entry on TO-DO list. Now it's time to work on it and make even more satisfied users.

Discharging History

Discharging history will be dedicated for all the past battery discharging sessions including all events happened at that time. Idea for this is having a list of expandable cards, when collapsed, card will contain next elements:

• Session start and end time
• Session length time
• Percentage discharged
• Start and end percentage
• mAh drained

When card is expanded it will contain next elements:

• Average temperature
• Max temperature
• Average current (mAh)
• App usage
• Top drainer

For now this seems as enough information rich feature, if you have any more idea, want to suggest some nice addition and also a telegram user, write a suggestion into a Telegram Group.

Re-calibrate the app

This feature will let you re-calibrate app at any time, reason for re-calibration is obvious, wrong data shown or some failure in general. This usually happens with the users who tend to use custom kernels. After flashing it, device starts to report wrong polarity or even different battery capacity as users reported. Why to reinstall app and lose all the history when you can simply recalibrate it. This function will stop the current app service and pass you to the application intro (thing you see first time after installing the app) where you can do recalibration.
