The Prime core will operate at about 2.4GHz, the Gold cores at around the same frequency, and the Silver cores at up to 1.8GHz. This sounds very identical to the seven Gen 1 frequencies: 2.4GHz Prime, 2.36GHz Gold, and 1.8GHz Silver.
Unfortunately, no information on the actual hardware have been released; assuming this is a Gen 2 chipset, it should utilise the updated core designs. Cortex-A715 for the Prime and Gold cores, and an upgraded A510 for the Silver cores. The 7 Gen 1 employs the older Cortex-A710 for Prime and Gold, as well as the A510 for Silver.
Assuming these are the new cores, we may expect only a minor boost in speed but a significant gain in efficiency - the A715 is 5% faster and 20% more efficient than the A710. Even the A510 core underwent a tiny revision, not enough for a new model number yet it is 5% more efficient.
