Respawn Entertainment, the developer behind the popular battle royale game Apex Legends, has announced that the mobile version of the game will be shutting down on May 1, 2023. The company stated that this decision was due to factors beyond their control, and that the mobile port will be discontinued a year after its initial release. Apex Legends, which is also available on PC and console, was developed by Respawn Entertainment and is currently owned by Electronic Arts (EA).
