The upcoming global launch of ASUS' ROG Phone 7 on April 13th leaves uncertainty regarding the number of models to be announced. The ROG Phone 6's successor will be unveiled at the event. Abhishek Yadav, a tipster, has disclosed that there will be no Pro version this time, only the ROG Phone 7 and 7 Ultimate will be launched. Furthermore, he has leaked the essential specs of these forthcoming products.
According to Abhishek Yadav's leak, both the ASUS ROG Phone 7 and 7 Ultimate will be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and will run on Android 13 upon release. Additionally, both devices will have the same triple rear camera setup, featuring a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor paired with a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens and an 8MP macro unit. There will also be a 32MP front-facing camera for selfies.
In terms of size and weight, both phones are expected to measure 173 x 77 x 10.3mm and weigh 239 grams. The only difference between the two models is likely to be in their RAM and storage configurations, with the ROG Phone 7 Ultimate featuring 16GB of RAM and 512GB of onboard storage.
