It seems, however, that the Mountain View giant has decided to give a gift to those who bought one of these two smartphones, launched three years ago in this period.
At least this is what emerges from an official statement from Google:
In May 2019, on the occasion of the launch of the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL, we announced that the devices would receive three years of software updates and three years of security updates since our devices would first become available on the Google Store. . The final update for Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL will be available to users by July 2022.
Basically, there is still time for a last update even if it will hardly be the next Pixel Feature Drop: this update, in fact, is scheduled for June while the Mountain View giant has referred to July (that of skipping the month of June should be a precise choice).
To find out more, we just have to wait for official information from the Google team and it will also be interesting to find out if the latest update for Google Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL will only implement the latest security patches or if, at the on the contrary, the developers will take the opportunity to introduce some new features.
