And so, given that the April security patches were released by Samsung at the end of March, it's probably no surprise that in the past few hours the Korean giant has kicked off the release of the May security update for Samsung Galaxy S22 series smartphone.
At the moment the developer team of the Korean giant has kicked off the roll out operations of the update in question for the versions of Samsung Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 Ultra animated by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor but within a few day the new software release should also land on models with Exynos CPU.
In particular, the first reports relating to the availability of the update come from India: the new software version is marked with the initials S90xEXXS2AVDD and the "weight" of the update is approximately 629 MB.
In addition to the Android security patches of May 2022 (which solve various vulnerabilities), this update brings with it the improvement of the general performance of the device and the fix of some bugs encountered by users in previous releases.
When the update is also available in Italy, the smartphone will notify users with a notification. The most impatient, however, always have the possibility to carry out a manual check, by going to the settings menu and entering the section dedicated to software updates.
