Last week at Mobile World Congress, Honor released three models of the Magic 5 series: Magic 5, Magic 5 Pro, and Magic 5 Lite. These devices are now available in China, and a new model, the Honor Magic 5 Ultimate Edition, has been added exclusively for the Chinese market. The Honor Magic 5 Ultimate Edition has impressive specs, including a 6.81-inch quad-curved OLED display with FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, and HDR10+ support. The device is also IP68 dust and water-resistant and features a pill-shaped cutout at the top left corner of the display and a protruding camera module on the back panel. The triple rear camera setup consists of a 50MP main sensor, 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50MP periscope telephoto unit with a 100x digital zoom.
There is also a 12MP front camera and a 3D depth camera that supports 4K video recording. The Honor Magic 5 Ultimate Edition is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, 16GB LPDDR5 RAM, and 512GB storage. It features a 5,450mAh battery with support for 66W wired and 50W wireless charging. The device runs on Magic UI 7.1 based on Android 13 and supports 5G, WiFi-6, Bluetooth 5.2, USB-C, and NFC connectivity.
The phone is available for pre-order in China starting today and will be available for sale from March 10th, priced at RMB 6,699 (~$966) and offered in Elegant Black and Burning Orange colors.
