The new iQOO Neo7 is the newest midrange gaming phone to be released in China under the vivo sub-brand. It has an enticing feature list that includes the flagship-grade MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ CPU, a 120Hz AMOLED screen, and 120W fast charging, as well as a 50MP primary camera with OIS.
The Neo 7 has a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, a refresh rate of 120Hz, and a touch sampling rate of 360Hz. The panel is HDR 10+ certified, supports the DCI-P3 colour gamut, and has a maximum brightness of 1,500 nits. The display is powered by a separate Pro+ display chip, which relieves the Dimensity 9000+ SoC of part of the heavy work.
The 50MP Sony IMX766V primary sensor with OIS leads the camera department, which also includes an 8MP ultrawide module and a 2MP macro camera. The software is Android 13 with OriginOS Ocean, and the 5,000 mAh battery supports up to 120W rapid charging with the included charging brick. According to iQOO's estimations, a 0-50% charge should take no more than 9 minutes.
The iQOO Neo7 is available in black, blue, and orange, with the 8/128GB trim starting at CNY 2,699 ($373). The most expensive 12/512GB model costs CNY 3,299 ($456).
In addition, for CNY 199 ($27), iQOO unveiled its TWS Air wireless earbuds, which feature 14.2mm dynamic speakers, twin microphones on each earbud, and a 25-hour rated battery life.
