The devices have a 6.7-inch curved AMOLED display with a punch-hole in the middle, a resolution of 2412 x 1080 pixels (FHD+), 394 PPI, and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The 10-bit panel can accommodate 950 nits of peak brightness and is shielded by Asahi Glass AGC DT-Star2.
The MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max processor powers the pro model while the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC powers the vanilla form. The latter additionally has an image processing MariSilicon X NPU.
Both have UFS 3.1 storage and LPDDR5 RAM, notwithstanding. The same ColorOS 13 running on Android 13 boots up as well.
A 64MP main camera and a 2MP black-and-white camera are both standard on the Reno 9. The Reno 9 Pro, on the other hand, has a 50MP Sony IMX890 primary camera and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor.
They provide a variety of connectivity choices, including USB Type-C, dual SIM, 5G, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, GNSS, and Bluetooth 6.0. An in-display fingerprint sensor, a graphite cooling system, and an infrared sensor are further features.
Not to mention, each gadget has a 4,500mAh battery that supports 67W rapid wired charging.
Cost and accessibility
The Oppo Reno 9 series will be available beginning on December 2 at a starting price of CNY 2,499 (about Rs 28,500). The pricing for each setup are shown below.
