Realme is gearing up for the launch of its latest smartphone, the Realme GT Neo 5, which is scheduled to make its debut in China on February 9th. This highly anticipated device is expected to be unveiled globally at the Mobile World Congress 2023, which is set to take place towards the end of this month. In order to give the public a taste of what to expect, Realme has just released a promo video that provides a comprehensive look at the smartphone's design and key features. The video is intended to create excitement and build hype around the upcoming launch of the Realme GT Neo 5.

According to recent reports and a promo video released by Realme, the Realme GT Neo 5 will feature an RGB LED light unit on its back panel. The light unit will glow red when the battery level drops below 20%, while it will always remain on as a purple light when above 20%. Incoming calls will cause the RGB light to flash purple and messages will result in a white glow. The device is expected to display different colors while gaming, such as different effects for different weapons in shooting games. The front of the device will feature a flat display with a centrally-aligned punch-hole camera, as well as a microphone and IR blaster on the top edge.
The Realme GT Neo 5 will have a 6.74-inch AMOLED screen with 1.5K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate, and run on Android 13 with Realme UI 4.0. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chip and have options for up to 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 1 TB of storage. The battery is rumored to be either 4,600mAh with 240W fast charging or 5,000mAh with 150W rapid charging. It is expected to have a 16-megapixel front camera and a triple camera unit including a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 with OIS, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera.
