Run Google Apps On A Huawei Device Using LightHouse!

Most Huawei handsets have a plethora of unique and interesting features and specifications, but the inability to install Google apps on them is the most disappointing aspect of these smartphones. HUAWEI lost access to Google Mobile Services (GMS) after being listed to the US Entity List in 2019 as part of the continuing trade dispute between the United States and China. HUAWEI has since promoted and improved their own Huawei Mobile Services (HMS), which aim to provide a comparable experience as GMS.

The Lighthouse app was created to assist people with logging into their Google accounts and gaining access to Google features. "Skywalker" publishes LightHouse. They have only one app under their belt: LightHouse EX, a support app for LightHouse. It is essentially a fork of the open-source project Micro-G.

How To Use LightHouse?

1. In the HUAWEI AppGallery, search the ‘LightHouse’ app
2. Install the LightHouse app
3. Go to Setting > App > LightHouse > Setting Button (top right corner) > Add account > Sign in to Google account
4. Go to AppGallery, search any Google App and install
5. Voila, the Google apps are signed in with your account

It should be noted that LightHouse does not install the Google Play Store. You may get Google apps from alternative stores such as the Aurora Store.Also, some apps may not work properly or at all when using LightHouse.Also, The app is presently accessible on some Huawei devices.
