Samsung presents a new Android tablet in a "silent" way, which constitutes a renewed version of a product already on the market: for this reason it takes the name of Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2022). At the level of technical specifications we find the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720g (Octa-core at 8 nanometers, 2.3 Ghz) instead of the Exynos 9611 of the 2020 model, flanked by 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory (expandable with microSD).
The screen is a 10.4 -inch LCD TFT at 2000 x 1200 resolution, on paper the same as the previous model (although we are sure that Samsung has brought some improvements), and also the photographic sector seems not to detach itself much from the latter : The technical data sheet speaks of an 8 MP rear sensor and a front for selfies and 5 MP video calls.
For the moment, the only variant with Wi-Fi connectivity can be purchased, but it is likely that in the future we will see a version with 4G LTE to be used more comfortably on the move (no 5G, unless a change of SoC). Then we find a double speaker signed Akg and support for S Pen, which is included in the package. The battery does not increase: on board 7040 mAh, the same as the predecessor.
The dimensions do not change: we are still talking about 15.4 x 24.4 x 0.7 cm and a weight of 465 grams (2 less than the "old" model). In short, both on aesthetic and hardware level are not many changes in the 2022 model compared to Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite: the most important novelty is the SoC, as mentioned a Snapdragon 720g and no longer an exynos 9611.
Samsung has not expressed itself for the moment regarding software support, which could be another reason to aim for this Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2022) and not the less expensive (currently) Model 2020. The new tablet already has Android 12 and therefore "benefited" starts.
