A few days after the last update, Samsung Galaxy S22, S22+ and S22 Ultra are preparing to receive another starting from the models with Soc Snapdragon. The security patches obviously remain those of May 2022, the last ones available for now. Unfortunately, the changelog is not very exhaustive: in fact only generic improvements to the overall stability of the functions are mentioned.
The firmware in rollout in these hours is the S90*Exxu2ave4 and requires a download of about 350 MB. For the moment, the distribution seems to concern the entire Galaxy S22 range with Snapdragon processor, but we soon expect news also for the Exynos versions.
New updates Samsung Galaxy S21 FE and Galaxy S20 FE:
Updates in Rollout also for two Fan Edition models, namely Samsung Galaxy S21 FE and Samsung Galaxy S20 FE. The first receives the G990BXU2CVD9 firmware in Europe and in Asia the firmware G990EXU2CVDA, which include the safety patches of May 2022 and the correction to several dozens of vulnerability.
The news for Galaxy S20 FE concern the 5G and 4G model with Soc Snapdragon, for the moment: the firmware are respectively the G781U1UES7EVD4 (starting from the United States) and the G780gxxs3cvd7 (starting from Brazil, Bolivia, other South America countries and from Vietnam) and include the security patches of May 2022. We continue with the smartphones of the South-Core manufacturer, moving on to the middle band: there are in fact updates in distribution also for Samsung Galaxy A53 5G, Galaxy A41 and Galaxy A22.
Galaxy A53 5G had started receiving the security patches of May 2022 a few days ago starting from the United States, and now the firmware A536BXU2AVD7 is now in Rollout. The update brings the correction to dozens of vulnerability, but also improvements to the stability of the camera and the system in general and some generic bug fix.
The updates for Samsung Galaxy A41 and Samsung Galaxy A22 are more important, who are starting to receive Android 12 with the One UI 4.1. Firmware are respectively the A415FXXU1DVDB and the A225FXXU3BVD8 and have started to be seen starting from Russia.
The novelties are obviously several, even if they are not all those seen on the flagships with the transition to Android 12: we still find more customization possibilities (styles, themes and color palette, further improved with the One UI 4.1), a general renewal of the System and pre -installed apps, Privacy side steps (indicators of using microphone and camera, privacy dashboard, approximate position) and beyond. In addition, the security patches of April 2022 are included.
We change the brand because there are important updates also for Nokia G10, Nokia G20 and Nokia 2.4: all three low -end smartphones are in fact receiving Android 12.
Nokia 2.4 is an Android One smartphone released with Android 10, so this should be the last major update. The update brings the V3.210 version together with the security patches of April 2022. Nokia G10 and G20 are a little more recent devices: for them it is the first major release after the release on the market with Android 11 and arrives respectively with the V2.210 versions (with April 2022 patch) and V2.230 (with May 2022 patch).
For all three innovations are several and include renewal of the interface, privacy dashboard to keep the permits, the indicators with the use of microphone and camera, new widgets and the possibility of customization and much more under control.
