On February 28th, 2023, Battery Guru received an update rejection from Google due to features that allowed users to make changes to the system. Specifically, this violation applied to the Save and Doze Editor sections of the app.
As a result of this policy violation, Google has mandated that we remove all features that enable such behavior. We have no choice but to comply, as Google sets the rules and we must abide by them.
Starting with this version, we will be removing the Doze Editor section entirely. Meanwhile, the Save section will be updated to provide helpful tips on how to conserve your phone's battery.
We understand that some of you may be disappointed by the removal of these features and may leave negative reviews as a result. Unfortunately, we are powerless to change this decision. However, we are actively searching for suitable feature replacements and hope you will enjoy them.
In the meantime, we must all learn to adapt to changes as they come. We appreciate your support throughout the three years of our project's development and thank you for your understanding.
