The next iPhone software update features a revamped lock screen with greater personalization choices. Widgets will also be available on the lock screen. You can modify and even recall texts in Messages, and you can also watch films in SharePlay from within Apple's chat app.
Wallet, Maps, and Photos all get new features and improvements, but the greatest change is that Auto Play is working with car manufacturers on a revised interface that will be released next year. Check out our list of iOS 16 compatible devices to discover which iPhones are included.
2. MacBook Air 2022
The new MacBook Air 2022 has arrived, and it looks fantastic. In a 20 percent smaller design, you get a larger and brighter 13.6-inch display, a quicker M2 processor, and a superior 1080p camera. The four colour options provide a stylish touch to this powerful laptop. It has a starting price of $1,199 / AU$1,899, which is rather hefty. The M2 processor will also be available in the new 13-inch MacBook Pro 2022.
3. MacOS Ventura
macOS 13 introduces several new features, including a new name inspired by the Southern California seaside city. The big draw here is Stage Manager, a new form of multitasking that highlights the programme you're working on. The most appealing feature of macOS Ventura is the ability to utilise your iPhone as a camera during video calls.
The iPad also supports multitasking using Stage Manager. A Freeform software enables a shared whiteboard to aid in collaborative work, while Apple touts enhanced gaming features on the iPad.
5. watchOS 9
In comparison to the previous software upgrades arriving this year, WatchOS 9 seems more like a standard release, including new watchfaces. However, there are better health-tracking capabilities, such as the ability to monitor sleep phases and register your history with irregular heartbeats.
