More than a month has now passed since the launch of Nothing Phone (1), the first smartphone of this new company founded by Carl Pei for which curiosity among technology enthusiasts and insiders is still quite high.
To make this device interesting there are on the one hand its technical equipment, thanks to which the phone should be able to guarantee a very pleasant user experience and, on the other hand, its design, in particular that of the rear body, which has 900 LEDs, which make up the Glyph interface (a light pattern that can indicate who is calling, signal the arrival of notifications, provide battery status, etc.).

On the occasion of the launch of the smartphone, Carl Pei promised 3 years of Android updates (without however providing a precise timing) and four years of security updates every two months.
Well, to the specific question about Nothing's programs regarding the update to Android 13, Carl Pei on Twitter responded in a way that cannot fail to arouse some "concern" among users:
"A product is more than its specifications, features and version numbers"
The speed of software updates, while not the only decisive thing in the overall evaluation of the experience offered by a phone, still represents a fundamental part and the hope is that Nothing, which is already behind the competition from this specific point of view, work hard not only to solve problems encountered by users but also to implement the new version of Google's OS.
