ChatGPT Plus Subscription Launches in India

OpenAI has announced via Twitter on Friday that ChatGPT Plus subscriptions are now accessible in India. Indian users can gain early access to new features, including the advanced AI model GPT-4. ChatGPT Plus is the platform that showcases GPT-4, the latest AI model released by OpenAI earlier this week.

OpenAI has introduced a new language model called GPT-4 which is an upgrade to ChatGPT based on GPT-3.5 technology. GPT-4 is capable of generating text that is similar to human language and outperforms its predecessor in terms of creativity, visual comprehension, and context handling. This new technology can be used to create and collaborate on creative projects such as music, screenplays, and technical writing. Data-sharing partnerships with companies like Morgan Stanley and Duolingo are currently underway to roll out the technology. However, it is currently only available to ChatGPT Plus subscribers who get early access to new features, including GPT-4, faster responses, and priority access to new improvements.

ChatGPT Plus is a new subscription plan that provides users with benefits such as faster response speeds, priority access to new features, and availability during peak demand. Although there may be capacity constraints, the company plans to optimize and scale up the service over time. There may also be a higher-volume subscription level introduced in the future for GPT-4 usage. OpenAI is planning to offer free GPT-4 queries for those who do not have a subscription.

The benefits of ChatGPT Plus include GPT-4 access on chat.openai.com, usage cap adjustments according to demand and system performance, faster response speeds, priority access to new features, and availability during peak demand. The subscription is priced at US$20 (Rs. 1650 approx.) per month.
