All of you who daily read our pages are passionate about technology, one part represents the hard core or those users loyal to the robot in all respects, and who would not dare to touch an iPhone even with a stick. Another party, on the other hand, could be broader-minded, affectionate yes to their operating system but still inclined to consider alternatives.
The differences between Android and iOS are many, but what stands out most of all is probably the freedom of customization: Android has always been a paradise for those who want to act in every possible aspect on their device, iOS at least from the point of view graphic and aesthetic is recently trying to give a little more freedom to its users (just a pinch).
Well for the Android loyalists among you, today's news might sound particularly strange but the numbers, you know, don't lie.

On the Play Store there is an iOS-like launcher that has been downloaded 50 million times
On Android, the change of the launcher represents one of the first steps in the aesthetic customization of the smartphone, often allows not only to change the visual impact of the homescreen user interface, but also to make everything more fluid and responsive when the launcher is done right. and the proprietary software no (remember the touchwiz right?).
As you can see from the Tweet above, there is a launcher on the Play Store (and in reality it is not the only one with similar downloads) that mimics iOS in its features and has been downloaded 50 million times. Launcher iOS 16 gives your smartphone the look of an iPhone, allowing you to do a little more that real iOS users can't do like rearranging apps in their menu, renaming them or changing the home screen animations.
In short, as already mentioned, the numbers do not lie, if more than 50 million users have downloaded this launcher (and there are other similar iOS ones with similar download numbers) it means that there is indeed an interest. It is impossible to say if it is only aesthetic preferences, or if underneath the passage to the dark side is being considered, but it is undeniable that over time Android has lost users in favor of iOS.
