The Red Magic 8 Pro series will be available in China on December 26th at 3 p.m. local time. The Pro and Pro+ models will be available. The forthcoming offers will be the Red Magic 7 Pro series' replacement. The company has begun teasing important smartphone features on the microblogging site Weibo. The official render, which show the devices, were also released earlier today.
The Red Magic 8 Pro series features a boxy design aspect right away. The left side appears to include a volume rocker and power button, and the right edge has gaming-centric controls, including a red slider. The back panel houses three rear camera sensors vertically arranged in a pill-shaped module. Red Magic branding may be found on the middle left side, as well as a logo at the bottom of the rear panel. The Red Magic 8 Pro series has also been hinted to include a translucent rear panel with a kevlar-like design, however much is not revealed about it yet.
The future devices have almost minimal bezels on the front and no notch for the front camera. The Red Magic 8 Pro is said to have a screen-to-body ratio of 93.7 percent. It will have an under-display camera. The smartphones are verified to have a refresh rate of 120Hz. The Red Magic 8 Pro will have ultra-linear twin stereo speakers for music. The devices will have Snapdragon audio, 96kHz lossless audio, and a low latency of 48ms.
The Red Magic 8 Pro series has been revealed to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 CPU. Aside from the aforementioned details, both the Pro and Pro+ models are likely to include up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. The former will apparently be powered by a 5,000mAh cell, while the Pro+ will be powered by a 6,000mAh unit with 165W charging capabilities.
