OnePlus has announced that it will unveil the OnePlus 11 on January 4 in China. The company is also rumored to be working on a new device called the OnePlus Ace 2, which is expected to be rebranded as the OnePlus 11R for the global market. A tipster known as Digital Chat Station recently shared some of the key specifications of the Ace 2.
According to recent leaks, the upcoming OnePlus Ace 2 smartphone is expected to feature a curved-edge display with a punch-hole in the center and an OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution. The device is rumored to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset and a 5,000mAh battery with support for 100W fast charging. It is also expected to have a 50-megapixel primary camera.
Other reports suggest that the Ace 2 will have a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 16-megapixel front camera, and a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel (Sony IMX890) main sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. It is expected to come with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage, and to run on Android 13 with ColorOS 13 in the Chinese market. It is also expected to have an under-display fingerprint scanner for security.
It is unclear when the Ace 2 will be released, but it is likely to be rebranded as the OnePlus 11R for the global market.
