As the tech world anticipates the launch of Google's first-ever foldable smartphone, the Pixel Fold, on May 10th, rumors and leaks surrounding the device's specifications have been circulating online. While Google has remained tight-lipped about the upcoming device, well-known leaker Jon Prosser recently revealed a trove of details about the Pixel Fold ahead of its release, much to the excitement of tech enthusiasts everywhere.
As per Prosser's leak, the Pixel Fold will feature a 5.8-inch OLED cover screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, 408ppi pixel density, a resolution of 2092 x 1080 pixels, and a 17.4:9 aspect ratio. Additionally, it will have a 7.6-inch OLED foldable screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, 380ppi pixel density, a resolution of 2208 x 1840 pixels, a 6:5 aspect ratio, and a UTG layer.
A leaked video of the Pixel Fold recently surfaced online, revealing that the foldable phone will be powered by the Tensor G2 processor, have a Titan M2 security chip, and LPDDR5 RAM. The device will also have a triple-camera setup on the back, featuring a 48-megapixel primary camera with OIS, a 10.8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 10.8-megapixel telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom. Moreover, it will have a 9.5-megapixel front camera on the cover screen and an 8-megapixel front camera on the inner screen.
According to the leak, the Pixel Fold will come with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for authentication and will operate on Android 13. The device is also expected to offer over 24 hours of battery life on a single charge, weigh around 283 grams, and have dimensions of 5.5" x 3.1" x 0.5" when folded.

As for its price and availability, the Pixel Fold is anticipated to be available in two variants. The 12GB + 256GB model is expected to be priced at $1799 and come in Obsidian and Chalk colors. Meanwhile, the 12GB + 512GB variant is said to cost $1919 and only come in Obsidian. Pre-orders are likely to commence on May 10, with carriers and Google partner stores taking orders from May 30, and official sales starting on June 27. Purchasers of the Pixel Fold may also receive a free Pixel Watch.
