For the end
Dozens of Redmi, POCO, and Black Shark devices are then listed under the column of “will get Android 12” and there are a further 12 Xiaomi Mi brand smartphones also with the sameheading. Then there is a selection of six smartphones, which includes the Redmi Note 9 (Global), that may or may not get the Android 12 update.
What will stick in the throat of many Xiaomi fans is the “Devices won’t get Android 12" section. There are some big names in here: the Mi 9 series, the Redmi 9 range, the Redmi Note 8 and Note 8 Pro.
This clearly says that this will be the latest increasement of the Android version for this device, at least for official branch, while on other side there are plenty of Custom ROMS for it.
