The global release of the Asus ROG Phone 7 series is scheduled for April 13, and details and images of the ROG Phone 7 Pro have already been leaked online. More recently, Evan Blass, a source of insider information, has revealed a render of both the standard ROG Phone 7 and the Pro versions.
According to the renders, the vanilla version of the Asus ROG Phone 7 appears to have a design that is similar to its predecessor, featuring curved edges and a curved back. The back of the phone will house three cameras and an LED flash, while the right side of the device will include a power button and volume rocker. The Pro model will have a similar design, but with an extra display on the back showing the Republic of Gamers logo.
The rumored specifications for the Asus ROG Phone 7 include a massive 6.78-inch E4 AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution, as well as an under-display fingerprint scanner. It is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen2 processor, with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. A Geekbench listing suggests that there may be a 16 GB RAM variant available.
