Carl Pei, CEO and co-founder of Nothing, confirmed the launch of the Nothing phone (1) in the summer and unveiled the first look of the Nothing OS at an event on March 23. The company stated at the time that it would preview the Nothing OS via its launcher, which would be available for download on select smartphone models beginning in April.
Nothing Launcher (Beta) is now available for download on the Google Play Store for the Samsung S21 & S22, as well as the Google Pixel 5 and 6. It will be made available for OnePlus devices in the near future.
Because it is still in beta, the launcher is fairly basic and offers nothing unique aside from the widgets. The app animations, on the other hand, are smooth and fluid. It lets you choose between two grid sizes for your home screen. It also supports various icon packs and, with notification access permission, allows you to enable notification dots. It also allows you to enlarge folders on the home screen. Although these features are already available in most launchers today, this app has much more potential and may be improved further in the future. Nothing Launcher also shows off Nothing Os and the Nothing Phone (1). We'll find out how well those work in the coming month.
