Earlier this month, Carl Pei, CEO of Nothing, confirmed the upcoming launch of the Phone (2), which will serve as the successor to the Phone (1). Pei stated that the new model will feature a more premium design and improved software experience compared to its predecessor. Recently, publication MySmartPrice obtained information from a reliable source about the model number, launch date, and key specifications of the Nothing Phone (2).
According to a recent report, the Nothing Phone (2) has been assigned the model number A065 and is expected to launch in the third quarter of 2023, between July and September. This follows the launch of the Nothing Phone (1) in July of the previous year. The Nothing Phone (2) is expected to provide a premium experience with flagship-level specifications.
The report suggests that the Nothing Phone (2) will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8-series processor, though the specific chipset has not been disclosed. The device is expected to feature at least 12GB of RAM and support for virtual RAM technology, as well as 256GB of internal storage. The phone is rumored to have a 5,000mAh battery, compared to the 4,500mAh battery in the Nothing Phone (1).
The Nothing Phone (2) is expected to retain the AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate from its predecessor and will likely feature an adaptive display that adjusts the refresh rate based on the content being displayed.
More information is expected to surface about the Nothing Phone (2) in the coming months.
