To report the "case" of the sudden loss of data connectivity for the Samsung Galaxy S22 range to TuttoAndroid.net was the user Angelo Catalano who became a real spokesperson for the Italian community, reporting the widespread problems that various users, owners of a Galaxy S22 smartphone (therefore S22, S22 Plus or S22 Ultra), have been facing for several months.
According to initial information, based solely on user reports, the Samsung Galaxy S22 seem to be plagued by an unresolved software problem that manifests itself, in particular, in the transition from 4G to 4G +. This step would cause the loss of the external IP address with the DNS that would no longer respond to the ping. The first reports date back to last March.
The problem, however, has never been solved with the various software updates released by Samsung in recent weeks. The most recent reports from Italian users of the Samsung Community, in fact, date back to today. The malfunction (with the sudden loss of connectivity under the data network) is common to practically all user reports.
A user writes "I sent 5 reports but the problem persists, they promised an update for June 10 that would solve the problem but to date the only solution is to activate and deactivate airplane mode". Comments like this are manifold. The reports on the Samsung Community, in fact, are numerous and many users confirm that they have tried, unsuccessfully, to request the support of official Samsung assistance.
A quick search on the Samsung Community forum shows us dozens and dozens of open discussions on the same topic. Although it is not a general problem, the bug affects a large number of users who are making their voices heard directly on the Samsung home forum. Today we try to echo the problems reported by users who own a smartphone from the Samsung Galaxy S22 range.
We will see if Samsung will give an official answer or not and if, with one of the next updates, it will solve this annoying bug.
