The first day of Google I/O 2022 ended with a bevvy of announcements ranging from the high-end Pixel 7 teaser to a plethora of updates to Google's existing software and platforms. The IT behemoth also revealed a preview of its future plans. This year's highly anticipated event witnessed the release of Google Pixel 6a and Pixel Watch, putting to rest rumours and suspicions of a delayed launch. The Pixel Buds Pro and Pixel Tablet have been formally announced by Google.
Google has officially introduced its next smartphone, the Google Pixel 6A, after months of anticipation. The gadget has a 6.1-inch display and a dual-tone design. The smartphone has a 12.2MP primary camera and a 12MP ultra-wide camera on the screen. The Tensor 5G processor powers the smartphone. The Pixel 6A stands out for its improved photographic capabilities. The smartphone also has Live Translate and a Titan M2 security chip. In the United States, the smartphone costs USD 499 (about Rs 35,000). It will be available in three colours beginning July 21.
