Oneplus providing extended Android support!!

Are you an Oneplus user? If so, wouldn't it be nice to receive updates for a little while? Then we have some good news for you!

During an event Oneplus revealed that it'll start providing 4 years of major Android updates and 5 years of security updates just like its competitor Samsung. But the OEM did not specify which of its phones will be able to take advantage of this extended Update support.
With the current scenario, it seems likely that it will be for its flagships, like the Oneplus 11.​ After the recent controversy surrounding Oneplus merging with Oppo, this decision might be a game changer for the company.

Only Samsung was the only OEM in this scenario to make such a broad promise. Even the Android manufacturer itself provides only 3 years of updates and 5 years of security patches (on day 1 of release). Hopefully, other OEMs will follow the trend and offer extended software support soon. ​At the event itself it was also revealed that the team is working on its next version of custom skin i.e. Oxygen OS 14.

We still don't have complete information from the company.
But we will get that cover as soon as we get any kind of hint.
