In China, Oppo is planning to revamp its Reno 8 series. Under the Reno 8 series, the business plans to release three smartphones. The Reno 8, Reno 8 Pro, and Reno 8 Lite are among them. Although Oppo has not confirmed the precise launch date, the Reno 8 series is expected to arrive in May. The Reno 8 series is also expected to launch in India in June. The smartphone with the product number PGAM10 mentioned on Geekbench is thought to be the vanilla version of the forthcoming Reno 8. The phone is powered by a taro-coded octa-core CPU, which is likely to be Qualcomm's yet-to-be-released Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor. The chipset has four cores running at 1.80GHz and another cluster of four cores running at 2.36GHz. The smartphone features 8GB of RAM and runs Android 12 with Oppo's ColorOS 12.1 shell, according to Geekbench. In Geekbench 5, the smartphone had a single-core score of 712 and a multi-core score of 2385. According to previous leaks in past, A 6.55-inch Full HD+ OLED display is claimed to be included in the smartphone. It will have a 120Hz refresh rate and a hole-punch cutout for the front camera in the top centre. A 50MP primary camera sensor, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro camera sensor will be found on the back of the phone.The Reno 8's 4500 mAh battery will receive an update to 80W fast charging.
