The Poco F4 GT, which is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, was launched by the Chinese phone maker in April. The F4 5G will be unveiled soon by the firm. The F4 5G's specifications are yet to be revealed, however Poco's Indian division confirmed today that the smartphone would be powered by the Snapdragon 870 SoC.

In terms of design and features, the POCO F4 is thought to be a rebadged version of the Redmi K40S. Given that the Redmi K40S also comes with the Snapdragon 870 CPU, this offers even more value. The POCO F4 is rumoured to include a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a punch-hole cutout for the front camera. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor is combined with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, which should be extendable via microSD card. It comes preloaded with Android 12-based MIUI 13 with a 4500mAh (Typical) battery with 67W fast charging.

The primary sensor is combined with a 2MP macro camera and an 8MP 119-degree ultra-wide-angle lens. For selfies and video chats, it might include a 20MP front-facing camera. 5G SA/NSA, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and USB Type-C are all possibilities for connectivity.
