The Red Magic 8 Pro has had its launch date pushed back to December 26, and nubia has now confirmed some details about the phone's battery. According to teasers on Weibo, the gaming smartphone will have a 6,000 mAh battery and will support fast charging at up to 165W, allowing for a full charge in under 15 minutes.
The Red Magic 8 Pro series is likely to have a same display size on both models. In other words, the front sports a big 6.8-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2480 x 1116 pixels. This panel will also have a high refresh rate of 120Hz and a screen-to-body ratio of 93.7 percent. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC will power the new flagship series, which will be combined with 8GB, 12GB, or 16GB of RAM and up to 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of internal storage.
On the back, there will be a triple camera configuration consisting of a 50 megapixel main sensor, an 8 megapixel ultra wide angle lens, and a megapixel depth or macro sensor. The front has an 8-megapixel selfie camera, which is thought to be hidden behind the display. However, the specific manufacturer of these sensors is unknown at this time.
it includes ultra linear dual stereo speakers with Snapdragon sound, 96kHz lossless audio, and 48ms latency. The battery capacity and charge speeds are two features that distinguish the Pro and Pro+ models. The former will have a big 5,000mAh battery pack that supports 120W fast charging, while the latter will have a massive 6,000mAh battery pack that enables an even faster 165W fast charging rate. However, both versions will boot the Android 13 OS-based Red Magic UI right out of the box.
