It is known that in the technological sphere the news run and often, if not almost always, they transpire several rumors about almost all the products not yet available on the market; Lately, however, at least in the Google house, it seems that in addition to the news "they also go around" the prototypes of future smartphones.
At the beginning of May, the Mountain View giant, on the occasion of the annual Google I/O, revealed the next Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro to the world whose arrival is expected in the coming months. A few days ago, however, we reported the news of a Pixel 7 model that appeared on sale on Ebay, apparently photographed using a Pixel 7 Pro (in one of the available images in fact the reflection on the back cover was noted).
Well now it seems that there is another prototype in circulation of Pixel 7 Pro, we discover the details.

A user would have used a 7 Pro Pixel 7 for three weeks without realizing it
The news is yesterday, spread through a post on Reddit, according to which the AMC20_ user has purchased and used a Pixel 7 Pro without realizing it, before the smartphone was made unusable remotely. The smartphone, according to what the user declares, would have been purchased on Facebook Marketplace where he was described as a Pixel 6 Pro and would be used by the buyer for three weeks, without realizing that he had a different device in his hands.

As you can see from the images in the gallery above, however, things did not go very well for the user; In fact, it seems that following the spread of the news, Google has reset the phone remotely, actually making it unusable. Any ignition attempt is directed to the quick start menu of Android, where you can see the code name "Cheetah", confirming that it is a Pixel 7 Pro.
The information on the story ends here, it may not be very credible that the user was not aware of the device in his possession, on the other hand also Google's attitude is not the best, making a regularly purchased smartphone remotely unusable ( The fact that it does not be on sale does not depend on the buyer, but probably someone inside the company), albeit to protect a corporate secret, leaves a bit of a bitterness in the mouth.
