Since this procedure uses a default static password, Telegram is theoretically testing a more secure system that involves linking your account to an email ID that the platform will use for verification every time you log in from a new device.
Developer Alessandro Paluzzi managed to capture some screenshots that show that the aforementioned functionality is under development.
As you can see in the first screenshot, the feature will offer Telegram users the ability to add an email ID to protect their account, with an option to log in via Google for Gmail users.
“This email address will be used every time you log into your Telegram account from a new device. "
A special button available within the pop-up will allow users to link their Telegram accounts to a different email ID. With this system, the privacy of Telegram users should be better protected, but at the moment the company has not shared any details regarding this feature.
