New strings XDA spotted in the Google Play Services v22.32.12 beta APK code reveal that Google may soon offer users the ability to back up smartwatch data when they switch to a new smartphone to make migration less hassle.
The Google Play Services v22.32.12 beta code suggests that future data backup functionality will need to be somehow configured through various options.
The ability to back up your Wear OS smartwatch data is welcome, however it may take some time before it is widely released, as it currently appears to be still in the early stages of development.
