The Pixel Watch, which has been speculated for quite some time, is officially official, and it will be released this autumn alongside Google's new Pixel 7 line of phones. The Pixel Watch was debuted during Google's I/O Developer conference on May 11, giving us our first official look at the device. The newest rumour comes from 9to5Google, who cites a source who reveals details on the battery life predicted on the Pixel Watch, which was previously teased.
According to another claim from the same source, the Google Pixel Watch has a 300mAh battery. This is most likely for the base model, while the battery size of an alleged LTE version is unknown. It was claimed earlier this month that the Pixel Watch will employ an older Exynos 9110 processor from 2018 manufactured on a 10nm technology, the same chipset seen in the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active2. The website, however, notes that it is unaware of the circumstances under which this estimate was produced. As a result, a day's battery life may only apply if you disable the device's always-on display (AOD) feature, for example.
Furthermore, according to 9to5Google, the estimated battery life does not incorporate sleep tracking or whether a day reflects waking hours. Worse, according to 9to5Google, the Pixel Watch would take 1:50 hours to fully recharge, compared to 1:15 hours for the Watch Series 7 to charge from 0% to 100%.
