In today's world, most people are active on social media platforms, and WhatsApp is one of them. It's a popular messaging app, it's available on many platforms like Android, Windows, macOS, and IOS.
A huge shoutout to developer Adam Foot, users can now finally use Whatsapp on their Apple watches using the new WristChat app. The WristChat app was based on SwiftUI so that it could fit in the interface of the Apple watch. The app uses Whatsapp's web API to access users' data. |
Setting up the app is as simple as installing the app and scanning the QR code provided using Whatsapp web API via the Whatsapp scan app on your phone or iPhone.
Then, the app will show all of your recent conversations. Using it is just like using the normal app, so you can see new messages and text back.

Furthermore, the app has some customization options, such as whether to show the display pictures of profiles or not. You can even change the colour of the notifications. But there's a catch too, you can't choose to start a new conversation from the app.
For input options, you can use any input methods available on your watch. But for an enhanced experience you can use an app from the same developer "WristBoard". It provides you with a full keyboard, autocorrect and suggestion features, and much more.
Both of these are available on the App Store for $2.99 each.
