After many significant leaks and a brief teaser campaign, the Xiaomi 12 Lite is been formally unveiled. The phone has a 108MP primary camera, a 120Hz OLED screen, and an extremely low price. The device has intermediate specs and is reportedly the Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G from last year's lineup. By maintaining a compact profile and making the phone lightweight at 173 grammes, Xiaomi has once again put a strong emphasis on the design.
The dual-SIM Xiaomi 12 Lite is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G octa-core SoC. The smartphone runs Android 12 and MUI 13. With a 20:9 aspect ratio, a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, and a maximum brightness of 950 nits, the device's 6.55-inch AMOLED full-HD+ display boasts these specifications. The smartphone boasts a refresh rate of 120Hz and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz, and it supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. The Xiaomi 12 Lite has connection through USB Type-C, NFC, Bluetooth v5.2, and Wi-Fi 6. In addition to the two stereo speakers and greater sound quality mentioned before, the smartphone also has Dolby Atmos, a specialised audio technology.
Speaking of the Xiaomi 12 Lite's rear camera, it has a 108Mp primary camera with a Samsung HM2 sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies and video calls, the gadget sports a 32MP front camera with a Samsung GD2 sensor. Additionally, it includes autofocus and Xiaomi Selfie Glow.
